Ron brings over 20 year of hands-on Canada/U.S.A. Commercial Credit, Collections and Accounts Receivables Management experience to the seminar, which he incorporates into the seminar to engage the participants and enhance their motivation to transfer the training from the seminar to their specific function and/or portfolio back on the job.
Ron's
commercial credit and collections management experience
includes; senior level collections management positions, with leading industry, fortune 500 corporations in the United States, including small and medium-sized corporation
in Canada.
In his hands-on
management journey, Ron has worked in a variety of industries, including; Advertising, Service, Manufacturing,
in 3rd party Agency
Collections and Government.
In 2001 Ron recognized that most collections people learned the collections business from
the on-the-job exposure, and as a result, duplicated old habits and beliefs that were no longer effective. To train his employees to achieve a high level of professional effectiveness, Ron created a training system which was very effective in achieving established collections goals. The success of these training events and programs laid the foundation for the creation of the "Collections Seminar".
Since the first open to the public seminar in 2002, Ron has conducted this seminar in cities across Canada and the United States. In addition, Ron has conducted this seminar for various corporations on-site, customized to their product, service, credit terms, industry competitive requirements and to address their specific corporate receivable and revenue cycle management needs and focus.
Ron is also an Entrepreneur who knows how to build a business from the idea stage and manage and create all the procedures, while keeping an eye on the accounts receivable cash flow contribution by establishing and managing good workable credit and collections policies.
