Ron
Johnson
brings over 20 year of hands-on Canada/U.S.A. Commercial Credit, Collections
and Accounts Receivables Management experience to the
seminar, which he incorporates into the seminar to engage the participants
and enhance their motivation to transfer the training from the seminar to
their specific collections function and/or portfolio back on the job.
Ron is a seasoned industry professional, with well rounded and
developed collections and credit management skills and entrepreneurial experience, that he seamlessly integrates into the
collection seminar to teach participants workable techniques for collecting
more, by design, rather than by default.
Ron
has a broad range of corporate credit and collections management experience, ranging from
collections operations to senior level
positions, with leading industry, fortune 500 corporations in the
United States, including small
and
medium-sized corporation in Canada.
In his
hands-on experience journey in the industry, Ron has held progressive growth
position in credit/collections management in a variety of industries,
including; Advertising, Service, Manufacturing, Collection Agency,
Government and Outsourcing.
In
2001 Ron recognized that most collections people learned the collections
business from on-the-job exposure and as a result duplicated old habits and
beliefs, that were no longer effective. To train his employees to achieve a
high level of professional effectiveness Ron created a training system which
was very effective in achieving established collections goals. The success
of these training events and programs laid the foundation for the creation
of the "Collections Seminar"
Since
the first open to the public seminar in 2002, Ron has conducted this seminar in cities across Canada
and the United States. In
addition, Ron has conducted this seminar for various corporations on-site, customized to their product, service, credit terms,
industry competitive requirements and to
address their specific corporate receivable and revenue cycle management needs and focus.
Ron incorporates
his multi-industry collections experience, entrepreneurial skills and
hands-on order-to-cash business process experience, including his revenue cycle
and cash flow management experience, into
the seminar giving
participants workable skills to apply back on the job, to contribute to the management of the receivable asset
of their company and techniques for getting planned results in the business
of collections.
Ron is also
an
Entrepreneur who knows how to build a business from the idea stage and
manage and create all the procedures while keeping an eye on the accounts
receivable cash flow contribution by establishing and managing good workable
credit and collections policies.
He was the founded of two successful business process
outsourcing service companies, including an outsourcing service company and facility
in Jamaica, which grew to over 400
employees, providing Fuel Tax reporting information processing as well as
billing and invoicing to corporate clients in the U.S. and
Canada, before BPO and Offshoring became business buzz-words.
Ron is a dynamic and
engaging seminar leader. His style and delivery energy was honed sponsoring
seminars and sharing stage with some of the leading motivational speakers
and entrepreneurial management trainers in industry.
